Long Island Comfort Shoes and Pedorthic Services, Inc. (LICSPS) is located in Suffolk County Long Island, in Port Jefferson Station, on Route 112 (also called Patchogue Road).
We are a premier retailer and comfort footwear facility, fully accredited by The American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics and Pedorthics.
Our goal is to provide the finest properly fitted comfort, dress, orthopedic and diabetic footwear for adults as well as children's corrective shoes.
We stock a large inventory of footwear, 35+ vendors, in multiple widths and sizes and can accommodate just about everyone. Some of the brands we carry include: Ara, Beautifeel, Birkenstock, Brooks, Clarks, Comfort Club, Dansko, Dunham, Ecco, Haflinger, Helle Comfort, Merrell, Naot, New Balance, Orthaheel (Vionic), Orthofeet, Propet, P.W. Minor, Propet, Rockport, Softspots, Wolky, Santana, Sorel, Toe Warmers, Wolky & more.
Our Board Certified Pedorthist (C.Ped.) is on premises at all times and works with each customer to satisfaction. For those not familiar, a C.Ped is a footwear specialist that addresses issues pertaining to overall foot-related health. At LICSPS our C.Ped has the knowledge and expertise to cast custom molded shoes, orthotics, inserts and perform shoe modifications.
Need orthopedic footwear? We have a large variety of styles to choose from. You don’t have to look like you’re wearing orthopedic shoes if you’d prefer to be a little more fashion forward. We also retain over-the-counter non-prescriptive/ prescriptive foot care products.
We are also an experienced Medicare Provider under the Diabetic Theraputic Shoe Program.
We work closely with the medical community and receive referrals from MDs, Podiatrists and Endocrinologists. When a medical professional refers someone to LICSPS, we fill that patient’s Rx (prescription) according to their doctor’s directive. It is important for us to know that both the doctor and patient are satisfied with the product and care they receive at LICSPS.
Our expertise and attention to each customer are key ingredients of our successful pedorthic practice. Customers keep coming back with their family, friends and co-workers because they know we care about their needs!
We are within “very close” proximity to numerous assisted living facilities. On an appointment basis, we service residents needing special attention. In addition we conduct home care visits on an appointment basis as well.
